Some of the things PGNA neighborhood volunteers accomplished include:
Initiated repair of the irrigation in the freeway easement along part of the western border of our neighborhood;
Arranged to have the freeway easements cleaned;
Initiated tree planting in the freeway easement to reduce SR51 traffic noise;
Initiated the repair of street lighting repaired along the freeway easement;
Organized an effort by volunteers and Operation Enduring Gratitude to clean up the yard and house of an elderly neighbor;
Initiated alley clean up with the City.
Ongoing projects include:
A plan with the City to restore median landscaping on North 32nd Street corridor to beautify it and make it safer.
Building new neighborhood monuments to replace the ones that were removed when SR51 was built;
Organizing the spring and fall block parties (cancelled this year due to the pandemic).
